Beach Reservation Guidelines
Responsibility of Host: It is expressly understood and agreed that the Host shall be responsible to clean up the beach and remove all debris from the beach in order to return the beach to the condition it was prior to the party, including wiping down tables, cleaning up the grounds, and cleaning up the kitchen and bathroom. Host shall be further responsible for removing and disposing of all garbage from the Beach. In the event that Host fails to comply, a clean-up fee shall be assessed to the Host. Please note that this is the Host’s responsibility and not the responsibility of the beach attendants.

Each and every Vendor who shall appear at the Port Washington Estates Association (“PWEA”) beach shall be required to name the Port Washington Estates Association as an additional insured on its insurance policy and shall provide PWEA with a certificate of insurance no later than ten (10) days prior to the party.
It is expressly understood that although your beach reservation means you will be the only large, private party at the beach during your reservation time, the beach still shall remain open to other PWEA members, who may be using the tiki bar area and the barbeques. You are not permitted to block off the entire beach or post “no parking” signs. Please keep the parking area to the right of the beach (as you drive in) free for member parking.
In order to secure your reservation, there is a required fee as follows:
Under 30 guests————————————————$100.00
30 to 49 guests————————————————–$200.00
50 to 74 guests————————————————–$350.00
75 to 100 guests————————————————$500.00
NO PARTIES MAY EXCEED 100 GUESTS
All parties over 25 guests must supply valet parking and portable toilet facilities.
Only guests who are members of PWEA and have parking tags can park on the beach.
All parties will employ catering. No on site cooking permitted.
The Host agrees to release, indemnify defend and hold harmless PWEA and the PWEA Board from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, actions, suits or proceedings at law or in equity, or any other expense, fees or charges of any character or nature, which it may incur or with which it may be threatened and does indemnify PWEA to the extent permitted by law against any and all expenses, including all reasonable attorneys’ fees and the cost.
Any disputes, claims or controversies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to principles of conflicts of law. Any matter shall be venued in the county of Nassau.
Host expressly understands and agrees that he/she is accepting the beach “as is” and PWEA and the PWEA Board is not responsible for, and makes no representations regarding the condition of the beach its facilities and utilities, the accessibility of the beach or its facilities, the availability of parking, weather conditions and the impact upon the condition of the beach, or any other representation.
PWEA reserves the right to terminate or restrict access to the beach without prior notice for any reason or no reason.
